Another Canadian election has come and gone and once again Canadians, at least the ones who paid attention to the election, faced the presence of the Bloc Québécois and all they stand for. Identity is an extensive aspect of Canadian society, and Canada is known as a cultural mosaic in which its citizens’ cultures are considered important; our one claim to distinctness compared to our southern neighbour.
